Our Retrieval Process

Step 1: Retrieval

It all starts below the surface. Our specialized dive team expertly navigates course water hazards to rescue every golf ball they can find.

Step 2: Cleaning

Once back at the shop, our team deep-cleans every find. We remove all mud and grime, restoring the majority of these pond-recovered balls to their original, high-gloss shine.

Step 3: Counting & Quality Inspection

We hand-count every playable ball, strictly filtering out any with cuts, bubbles, or structural imperfections. This step is vital for maintaining 100% transparency between Muddy Toes Golf and our partner courses.

Step 4: Sorting & Grading

After the final count, balls are sorted by brand and performance tier. Whether it’s an A-Grade Pro V1, a Bridgestone Mix, or our signature Muddy Toes Mix, every ball is categorized to meet specific player needs.

Step 5: Ready for Play

With the cleaning and grading complete, the balls are ready for the fairway. You can find our restored inventory on our website, at your local pro shop, or wherever quality golf balls are sold.

Step 6: The Cycle Continues...

The cycle restarts the moment a golfer finds the water again—which, let’s be honest, happens more often than our scorecards suggest! When it does, we’ll be there to dive back in at Step 1.
